The Friends of Scituate Seniors Build a Campus committee fundraiser to provide contributions to the construction note to build the new Senior Center/Veterans Memorial Gymnasium project is soon entering the third and last month . Nearly two hundred contributors including businesses, organizations, residents and non-residents, have made contributions which will be honored on plaques outside their designated rooms as well as on a donor board in the center reception area.
If you would like to join these contributors by making a contribution in your family name, remembrance of a family member, friend, business, etc. you can go to buildacampus.org or contact Gordon Price at gapdgm@comcast.net for additional information. The campaign will end on May 31st, 2021 so please do not delay.
The Senior Center and surrounding campus slide show attached provides for a view of an almost completed center with most furnishings in place and beautiful views of the amazing Campus when looking out of almost every window in the center as well as from a walk around the campus. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will soon be announced, and the center will gradually begin getting into full swing with activities appealing to a wide segment of our population.
The New Scituate Senior Center has a Suite Dedicated to Veteran's Needs
Veterans, you are encouraged to enjoy the facilities not only of the Veterans Suite (Director and Waiting Rooms plus Conference Room) but also the game room with pool table, cafe for a coffee/snack or relax in the lounge.
You can contribute to FUND A ROOM and be recognized on the donor board for your generosity.

Veteran's Memorial Gymnasium Improvements
The Veterans Memorial Gymnasium received improvements as noted in the poster and pictures that follow. From now until the end of May 2021 the Friends of Scituate Seniors Build a Campus Committee is sponsoring “Donate to the Veterans Gym”. These donations will be applied to the construction costs of improvements to the Veterans gym. All donors names will be listed on a plaque located in the gym.
